Ballistic Striking with Neil Franklin

Reality demands practical, no nonsense solutions that can be used by anyone, anytime, anywhere. Ballistic Street Defense gives you THE solution for defending yourself against attackers. Takedowns, and why you should never go to the ground, by Val Riazanov
Переглядів 126 тис.9 років тому
In this clip I will demonstrate certain takedown techniques and also how to resist them. I cannot stress enough that going to the ground should never be an option in any street fight and this is not because you cannot win a one-on-one confrontation, but the fact that you don’t know who else is there! I did a seminar a few years ago for a well known SWAT team in the US. The guys were very welcom...
Pad Work with Val Riazanov
Переглядів 47 тис.9 років тому
www.valriazanov.com What I want you to takeaway from this clip is the relaxation of the body when performing the strike, the fluidity of movement and the fact that I am always trying to keep my weight centered and I feel that I am ‘sitting’ down on my legs to do so. Notice in the first part how I am using one arm to make multiple strikes and I can tell you from personal experience that I have b...
The Ballistic Strike in Action by Val Riazanov
Переглядів 30 тис.9 років тому
What I would like you to understand here is just how relaxed I am and ‘loose’ the striking motion is, but yet I am still maintaining form and structure. A relaxed muscle is a fast one and you only have to look at top class boxers to see how fluid they are when they fight - look up some footage of Roy Jones in training and you will see just how fast he was and how devastating his combinations ar...
Working with aggression with Val riazanov
Переглядів 81 тис.9 років тому
Firstly in this clip you will see the all too typical start of a confrontation which is the famous ‘pushing contest’! Now if you engage in this you are not gaining an advantage as each and every confrontation is a 50/50 gamble. www.valriazanov.com Why? Because of the simple and unpredictable ‘cheap’ shot. It is that shot that will finish anyone as a chin is just a chin. It does not discriminate...
Where to strike from Val Riazanov

Part 4 Effective Knee strikes
Переглядів 3,9 тис.10 років тому
Various techniques can be used in combination with each other. Especially kneeing an attacker in tandem with what we've already learned in the preceding videos. See how you can obtain the most power by simply lifting your knee directly into an attacker's solar plexus and chest.
Part 3 Learning How to Relax
Переглядів 7 тис.10 років тому
When throwing a punch, headbutt, elbow strike or knee it's very easy to use up a lot of energy and become winded in the process. However, one of the keys to effective self-defense is getting the most effect from the least amount of applied effort. This means that when you deliver a strike, your body should be as relaxed as possible. As hard as it is to believe, learning how to remain relaxed is...
Part 2 Using Ever Part of Your Body As A Weapon
Переглядів 4,5 тис.10 років тому
Headbutts are an incredible weapon to immediately stun your attacker and give you the chance to get away. For people who are not used to punching, the elbow is also an amazing tool to strike an attacker without worrying about causing damage to yourself in the process. Elbow strikes, correctly applied, are lethal, and provide you with the ability to devastate your attacker with speed.
Part 1 Women's Self Defense that Works
Переглядів 2,7 тис.10 років тому
Neil Franklin and his training partner go into exact detail about how to use every single part of the body as a weapon to disable, and stun an attacker. See how simple it is to leverage the natural power of your body as an offensive weapon.

It's really going against one digit instead of four. U don't need to do what he demo'd. A simple circular motion will work. A HKD concept.

Its not Russian martial art. You just have mixed Muay Thai with some well known self defense techniques and I have to say Muay Thai kicks and fists are really deadly.

Makes me think of a friend of mine named BoBo. About 6'8-9" tall about 310#'s, with arms like my legs, a hand like an orangutan, where he'd grab what others call a big man by their whole head. The harder they hit, the harder he'd laugh, knowing their desperate fighting was futile. But just like another friend, she was just a small skinny girl with long red hair from TN. She's been beat up a few times but she never lost a fight. Sweet as can be, but being small she compensated by using what's available, like matches. Everything has inherent dangers, where she played on this. Go swimming in saltwater, shed get blood from a slaughterhouse and pour around that area. Mess with her, it's hell to pay. Me???😂😂, I simply have plenty of friends.😂😂😂😂😂. What's better is, for some reason they love me. Which theyre all a bunch of good people, where I guess we all simply believe in doing right by one another. It's always somebody that want to show their hind end. Which a lot of my friends are not bad, but special forces could take notes as they know how to get even.

Who would grab your arms like that with so much space? I've never seen such, where seriously, who would grab like that? First issue is to get inside striking range, then hold on tight
